| In April 1997 I fell 6ft off a small footbridge
head first into a small creek hitting my head on a rock.Following that
I was faced with confusion about my injury which changed my life /my wife
life forever.This Web site sole purpose is help others whether caregivers
or survivors find some understanding from my struggles to rehabilitate
myself in a area where there is a lack of understanding / support / knowledge
of what one has to go through to refined themself after receiving a Traumatic
Brain Injury .
It is hoped that the development over the
next few years (now being Dec2000) of this site, will help with understanding
and compensatory strategies of my brain injury, so other can learn from
it, covered topic`s to included, head pain, emotions, rehab strategies
for home,how to seek help from specialist, easy computer steps that one
